A lot of people in the UK know about Etsy, the marketplace connecting buyers with designer-makers. I often overlook products from the site as there are less modern, timeless products than there are knitted jewellery but I thought it time to show another side of Etsy.
Introducing Eleanor Stuart, a London-based designer & illustrator whose work is bold, fun and wherever possible, witty and charming. Her work certainly looks to be inspired by Rory Dobner’s letter-art but filled with youthful imagination and a less sinister subject matter. I believe there is room for both to exist alongside each other and pleased to see more of this style being marketed for us consumers. What Ellie, as she prefers to be known, loves is to create work that makes people stop and smile.

Every piece of work is thought about, illustrated and produced in Britain… prints made by master printers in Norfolk, greeting cards produced in Kent and ceramics crafted in the heart of the traditional pottery industry in Stoke-on-Trent.
