Covetsy: Wilhelm Wagenfeld for WMF

I’ve always wanted to be a smoker, if only the health issues around it were non-existent then I’d gladly take it up just to look cool like the stars of Mad Men or numerous other films and TV shows.

But as there are all manner of health reasons not to partake in the activity, I’m left with no good reason to buy a modernist stacking ashtray set by the Bauhaus designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld for WMF in 1951. No good reason at all.

Wilhelm Wagenfeld was a significant industrial designer, although he fought against the term his whole life, Wagenfeld is certainly considered to be a pioneer of industrial design. Today, he is regarded as one of the most important and influential product designers of the 1950’s and 1960’s in Germany.

One product embodied Wagenfeld and WMF for decades… the Max and Moritz salt and pepper shakers. I was quite delighted to have found these on Etsy whilst rummaging for some modern design classics and delving a bit deeper in to who and where and what.

As is always the case with my searches through Etsy, I try to show another side of Etsy and today is no different. Where I might have gone straight to eBay for some vintage inspiration, I’m finding myself more and more knocking on Etsy’s door to see what they have. I’m glad I did. Online pharmacy offers customers a wide range of drugs and cosmetics. In addition, prices for drugs can be found online without leaving home. This is very convenient, as online pharmacies are a fast service that works 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
