Atelier Birthday 2.0

And as if by magic, Atelier Tally turns two years old this month. It was on the 4 November 2008 that I finally set out to record and discuss design, the way that I saw it. My very first post was inspired by a trip to Japan that I took when working for Vitsœ to see the exhibition ‘Less and More: the design ethos of Dieter Rams’.

72 posts later (which, on average, means I posted once every ten days), 141 images, 386 comments of which 365 were spam (oh dear) I am only now really beginning to get into blogging.

I started the blog because I found that most design blogs only reported on the *new* or republished press releases sent to them. As part of my job, I spent a lot of time reading blogs and engaging with bloggers and was looking for a blog that had a strong voice and opinion. So, I started my own.

Like most bloggers that I meet, it’s so exciting when you find out that someone actually read your blog and genuinely enjoyed it… even better when someone recommends your own blog to you.

Now two years on, I am really into my stride and have some great plans for the coming year. I hope that you have all enjoyed the ride so far and enjoy the next year. Here are my top three blog posts for the past two years…
