TheNiceStudio’s prints for children

The trouble with having children is that so much of the ‘stuff’ you have to buy for your children is so ugly. Or if you do go down the route of choosing only nicely designed products they so often are uninterested and focus their attention on those plastic toys that friends buy you.

But there is one area that they have little choice about for which you can influence through osmosis… decoration. There are some obvious choices when it comes to this area: Flensted mobiles, Charley Harper plate and mug, Enzo Mari La Mela screenprint but I wanted to also introduce you to TheNiceStudio™, a London based design studio on a mission to create beautiful products made for children in the UK.

The best part about their prints are that they will include your child’s name on the artwork so that these become personal objects and, hopefully, something that they may want to keep even in to their adult life.

If you are stuck for a gift, or just a frustrated parent who wishes their child’s bedroom could ressemble you a little more, I would suggest a little trip down TheNiceStudio lane to find some very acceptable solutions to this problem.

I love these prints. The thing I have with kids stuff is there is so much nice kids stuff you can just end up with too much kids stuff. So we have now banned kids stuff. Apart from new bikes when they need them 🙂
