About ATELIER TALLY

ATELIER TALLY is a UK online design and style magazine with a focus on product and graphic design. Exploring design that is made to last, ATELIER TALLY is interested in design that contributes to the world and is beyond superfluous and unnecessary design.

Going beyond the press release to discover the interesting stories behind the design, ATELIER TALLY presents stories that go further than most blogs – no fashion, just less but better.

Daniel Nelson has worked in design for the past decade and started ATELIER TALLY in November 2008 in London, UK as a discussion of timeless, modernist product design. Trained as a graphic designer, he also has an avid interest in typography. You can follow him on Twitter @ateliertally.

PR, advertising and marketing

I welcome relevant connections with PR and marketing agencies… I work for an agency myself. If you have an event or product that you would like me to be aware of then please do email me directly at daniel@ateliertally.com. I may write about your promotion if it is relevant… I have done so plenty of times in the past. I do prefer it if you can avoid mass-emailing your invitations where possible.

Blog with integrity

I signed the pledge to Blog with Integrity.

Blog with Integrity serves as an independent, informational resource for the blogging and business communities who also work with government, individuals and organizations to promote the principles of the Blog with Integrity pledge.

The pledge

By displaying the Blog with Integrity badge or signing the pledge, I assert that the trust of my readers and the blogging community is important to me.

I treat others respectfully, attacking ideas and not people. I also welcome respectful disagreement with my own ideas. I believe in intellectual property rights, providing links, citing sources, and crediting inspiration where appropriate.

I disclose my material relationships, policies and business practices. My readers will know the difference between editorial, advertorial, and advertising, should I choose to have it. If I do sponsored or paid posts, they are clearly marked.

When collaborating with marketers and PR professionals, I handle myself professionally and abide by basic journalistic standards.

I always present my honest opinions to the best of my ability. I own my words. Even if I occasionally have to eat them.
